Smt. K. L. Tiwari Degree College of Commerce and Science (SKLTDC), a private self-financed linguistic minority institution, was established in 2020 with a vision to provide quality higher education and foster holistic development among students. As a constituent of the Rahul Education Group, the institution is committed to nurturing individuals through the core values of excellence, liberty, fraternity, equity, and social responsibility, thereby empowering learners to become responsible citizens and future leaders.

Recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated with the University of Mumbai, the college offers a range of undergraduate programmes in Commerce and Science. Initially, the institution introduced three full-time undergraduate programmes—Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (B.A.F.), and Bachelor of Management Studies (B.M.S.). Expanding its academic horizons, the college introduced Bachelor of Science programmes, including B.Sc. Information Technology and General B.Sc. with specializations in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, and Zoology, thereby catering to the evolving educational aspirations of students.
